About Marc Stuart Connolly
Before becoming a genealogist and author, I spent a decade at BBC News in London and more than two decades at CBC in Canada. I’ve also had the opportunity to live and work internationally, engaging with people and organizations across government, the military, and related fields—particularly in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. Today, I bring those experiences to my books, professional genealogy, and writing.
Whether researching a family’s ancestry, analyzing global events, or writing historical fiction, I use the same core approach: identifying patterns, testing evidence, and building context—and looking for connections others miss between records, events, people, and the institutions that shape them.
